They are actually temples that hold a figure of a god that is the most important to theirvillage, priests go in and pray to the gods. Now coming up is Bailey. Was up!!! my name is Payton and I’m studying the city-states. A city state was a city that acted as its own state. It kind of sounds funny but they acted as their own government. They were their own government because they had their own laws and king or queen.
Cuneiform was like typing for the ancient city of Sumer, where it was developed, sometime around 3500 B.C. The people that wrote were called scribes and they did their writing on clay tablets.It was a big honor to know how to write back then and very few people did it.
